The 20/20, 08/2004

What is your idea of perfect happiness?
Sitting in front of a mountain lake surrounded by a forest. Elena is relaxing and sleeps hugged to me. Two bottles of Champagne (Sadi-Malot millesimé is enough, not that pricey, but tastable and quite original) at hand. Weather tending to cloudy but crossed by some rare ray of sun. Silence. Nobody around for miles. My pistol ready anyway.

If you could be someone else for a day, who would you be...
The Invisible Man

...and what would you do?
I would cry. Finally.

Which person (living or dead) do you most admire?
Martin Luther King

What is the one trait that you hate most about yourself?
My black/satanic side. I've always been fighting against it, as it's my arch enemy. Satan and God are, in fact, my true enemies, so... I guess I'm going towards an "invisible exile", even though I'm afraid...AH, AH, AH!!!

What is the one trait that you hate most about others?
People who are unable to love and respect themselves.

What is your greatest extravagance?
I'm the paler little bear among so many tanned Italian gorillas!

In what way would you prefer to die?
Alone. Not having anybody suffering for me.

What do you consider the most overrated virtue?
Slyness.

Which time period or event (past or future) would you most like to visit?
No one.

What is your greatest regret?
Having killed a child when I was a child.

When and where were you the happiest?
A few months ago, when "Invisible Front. 2005" came out, after too many nightmares. Impossible to explain what vicissitudes I'm talking about without being taken as a lunatic. Anyway... yes, I was happy, because we finally made the album I always like to listen to.

What do you consider your greatest achievement so far?
Purity.

If there is "life after death", what would you choose to come back as?
I wouldn't like to come back, really. I only like doing that if there's some real necessity for somebody I love, so in such an unlucky situation... I guess I would like to reappear as a kinda Hulk!

What is your most treasured possession?
A book: "Detti segreti di Gesù" ("Jesus's secret maxims"), compiled by Luigi Moraldi.

Which natural gift or ability would you most like to possess?
I'd like to become a little bit more carefree, having some breath of relief, sometimes.

What is your most marked characteristic?
I'm endlessly surprised by the world's negativity, despite I'm not a baby! So, I'm too often angry and irritated.

What do you value most in your friends?
Have no friends.

How would you describe the perfect room for yourself?
A combination of icy "modern" style touch and warmer characteristics. So, I will have to place a tall Artemide monolith-like metal lamp close to a Sixties-oriented sober blue sofà. A small Liberty style table made of black cast iron and Carrara marble, looking like the ones you can find in those old cafés when you're in Paris, Wien, Buenos Aires and Venezia. Some classic, and a few contemporary, music records almost everywhere. Two or three book-cases: black, almost light parquet. TV-set by LG: 21 inch monitor, reminding of old sci-fi flicks. An Acer Aspire 1610 notebook not running any music files but Photoshop 7.0 hidden somewhere. Large window and balcony door looking at a garden containing a small lake. May I add a Maxfield Parrish-like morning?

Who would you most like to fight?
Humanity.

What is your motto?
Do often talk to Gods, not to men.

Many thanks to Angelo for answering our Stateart 20/20!
